And a extra little tidbit of excitement....
the Signature American Watermedia Exhibition is a juried show in which only Signature members of Watercolor Societies can enter. You can only gain signature status by having 3 paintings accepted into national or international exhibitions held by the society.
On top of that info I found out that the juror (Steven Quiller ) needed to select a few more works for the gallery space after he made his initial selection. My second painting entered was chosen! But...rules state that only one painting per artist can be displayed....

in conjunction with California Dreaming exhibitions at Oceanside Museum of Art and the Riverside Art Museum L Street Fine Art Gallery will display 30 juried works.
March 30 – June 30, 2015.
L Street Fine Art is located at 628 L Street in San Diego’s Gaslamp quarter.
Opening reception will be held Saturday, April 11 from 6-9 pm.
