a workshop with Jesse

 I took a workshop up at Art and Soul in Portland with Jesse Reno. His work is mind blowing, raw and honest. I played with finger paint all morning. It's such a release to feel the paint in your hands, applying pure color on the paper and mixing with your fingers. Touching the paper surface with paint is the extreme tactile sensation. Highly recomended workshop!

Well, its been a while.....
I'm finally able to catch my breath and relax before teaching up in Portland at Art and Soul. I'm super jazzed to teach up there...2 workshops....Casa de Milagros...Batik Flora and Fauna.
Sounds like fun...doesn't it? There is still time to sign up..!

Just finished this painting of a succulent...one of my favorite things to paint.
It will be for sale at Vendor night at Art and Soul!

I've been playing with Twinkling  H2O's ....very cool luminous sparkly watercolors...very fun and they come in cute little pots.

Huge exciting news! My first article has been published for the premier eMag Cloth Paper Scissors available now!! The articles are interactive and fun! Plus, I have a tutorial ....you can even hear all of my bracelets clanking away while I work!

Jane LaFazio and I took the train from Create to downtown to see the Art Institute of Chicago...we spent most of the rainy, windy day inside taking in all the glorious art works.....unbelievably beautiful................... what a glorious day of art and fun it was!
