I'm pleased to announce that my latest painting "Migration" has been accepted into the 10th annual International Signature American Watermedia Exhibition which will be held next February in Fallbrook, CA. This is my second acceptance.
The juror, SoonWarren, NWS, AWS, commented on the challenge in selecting only 120 works from the 320 submitted. This exhibition is also only open to Signature members of watercolor societies in the US.
This painting was started in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico during the turbulent news about the southern US border political uproar.
The painting is very symbolic with the use of colors and shapes. The three birds represent the current administration. The ancestors in the photo frames indicate past acceptance of our ancestors into this country and the hope for acceptance and inclusion without prejudice for future immigrants.
